Enercon’s cap inspection systems are your quality control supervisor. They detect faulty containers and when combined with Enercon’s eJector, container rejection system, discharges them from your production line.
Basic missing foil detector and back-up detector are available for the Super Seal™ series. Enercon offers two inspection systems customized individually for the Super Seal™ Touch and Super Seal™ Max. The Super Seal™ Touch inspection system is integrated both electronically and mechanically.
Missing Foil Detector
Detects a missing foil liner. This circuit also provides a signal for triggering a reject device.
Back-Up Detector
Detects when bottles are backed up to the sealing head. If this condition is sensed, the sealer is automatically turned off and a "stalled bottle fault" is displayed on the system interface.
Stalled Bottle Detector
Sometimes also referred to as motion detection system, it detects when a bottle fails to exit the sealing head within a preset time. When this occurs, the sealer is automatically turned off and a "stalled bottle fault" is displayed on the screen of the system.
High Cap/Cocked Cap Detector
Senses a cap that is not properly seated or out-of-tolerance in height. This circuit also provides a signal for triggering a reject device.
Total Bottle Counter
Counts all bottles that pass the counter sensor. This counter can be reset manually.
Reject Bottle Counter Counts all bottles that have been detected for missing foil and cocked caps. This counter can be reset manually.
LED Bottle Centering Guide (Super Seal Touch only)
Gives precise centering point to align containers on the conveyor.
Fault Logging (Super Seal Touch only)
Keeps a detailed record of all faults including time and date.
