With the hot-stamping system of character printing, it has a wide application for printing identification marks or numbers put on wiring tubes, wire jackets and electric components including various molded plastic parts.
HOT STAMPING SYSTEM
Heated metal printing types print the required characters by heat transfer, when pressing color foil tape inbetween directly onto the workpieces. Printings can be accomplished beautifully and durably at a relatively low cost and by a simple operation.
WHAT KIND OF PRINTING TYPES ARE USED?
There are two different systems, namely character wheel rotating system and printing type setting system. The character wheel rotating system is suitable for printing wire numbers, manufacturing numbers and etc, by use of a combination of alphabetical letters and numerals. Quick selection and alignment of characters are possible. Character selection is easy, and stable printings are possible, with minimal temperature drops even immediately after character combination changes are made.
The printing type setting system is mainly used for printing small size characters, special style characters, logograms and etc.
By combinating various types, it can be applicable for printing marks of complicated combination of characters.
THERMAL HEAD PRINTING SYSTEM
Hotmarker SP Series adopt the thermal head printing system.
It is a system different from the above system, but as a result of various testings, it has been proven that it offers the equal durability as that of hot stamping. |
