Schaum have developed special ANTIFREEZE CODING INK for Low temperature application. The INK is very useful wherever coding is to be done on Ice Cream / Butter / Milk / Ghee & other packings, which are to be stored in deep-freezers. The inks are free flowing,limpid,transparent,water resistant and can be used to mark on Glazed / Nonglazed, Metallic/Non-Metallic Surfaces. The inks are resistant to temperature as low as -20 deg.c.
These inks are also used for marking on wax,plastic,varnish-coated paper, laminated surfaces, aluminum foil, polypropylene, cellophane, cloth, jute, glass / PVC / ceramic containers.
The ink is quick-drying and is resistant to lubricants and spermicidols.The markings on the surface are clear,sharp and indelible. Available colours are Black,Red,Violet,Brown and Blue. Other colours can also be supplied on request.
Coding ink is suitable for manual, Semiautomatic and automatic packing machines like Strip / Foil Pack, Carton-pack, Vertopack, Carton and Label overprinting machines.
These anti-freeze batch-printing inks can be used for many applications viz. for coding Batch No., Date of Manufacturing, Expiry Date, Maximum Retail Price, Lot No., and other statutory information on various packagings substrates.
The colours fastness of these inks is excellent and stands ultraviolet exposure upto wool scale no.6 which is about four years of indoor exposure.
Anti freeze Coding Inks are available in packings of 100 ml.,500 ml.,1 litre, 5 litres and 20 litres.
Schaum UNIVERSAL INK
These inks find application on polyester, treated BOPP, treated polyethylene, treated polypropylene, cellophane, aluminum foil etc. These diverse applications are further complemented by its excellent adhesion properties.
It means that everything from pouches for food products, pan masala, oil and vanaspati ghee, soap wrappers, detergent bags, cement and fertilizer bags, confectionery and biscuit wrapping, tetra packs, tea packs, corrugated boxes etc. can be printed to complete an excellently packaged product.

These inks are based on high molecular weight, structured special vehicle, which impart excellent ink roller stability but fastest drying properties. They are best known for their gloss and gloss retention with good rub resistance properties. Inks are produced from good quality colorants which offer brighter hues and excellent transparency. Schaum BLISTER PACK/ STRIP PACK CODING INK
Schaum have specially developed strip pack /blister pack coding inks for batch printing on aluminum foil used in various drug packing in pharmaceutical industries. It works where heat resistance of a print may be required in heat sealing operation involved in blister packing/strip packing sealing without loss of color strength or shade during the packing of final product.
This ink has optimum resistant to rub abrasion, acids, alkalis, oils, fats, detergents and other substances.
It gives clear and sharp impression on package. It has a good adhesion and heat resistant properties, so it will not transfer to the knurled sealing roller. It is a fast drying volatile liquid coding ink. It has good light fastness which gives good color strength, if keep it in out door exposure. This is such that does not dry on cartridge or ink duct (ink pot) for long time but fast dries when the printing is done on the surface.

PIC VISCOUS CODING INKS are based on visco-elastic vehicle technology and are suitable for a wide range of packaging application. This paste ink is applied to the ink roller and on contact of the oscillating roller; the ink evenly spreads like a film on rubber roller. Finally the printing drum takes ink from this roller & transfers the ink on to the surface/substrate.

Schaum HI-TEMP CODING INK
PIC has developed a very special ink for Retort Flexible laminated pouches. In the last few years there has been a very high use of these specialized Retort Flexible laminated pouches in various packaging needs. Retort Flexible laminated pouches are high strength, heat resistant and are thermally saturated at around 121 ?C. The majority of pouches are composed of a 3 layer film with polyethylene terepthalate (PET) on the outside face, and a core of aluminum foil with an inner layer of polypropylene copolymer.
This ink can work up to 250 ?C and does not have any color fading at all and it also work perfectly when in touch with water, The Ink can also withstand an ultra violet exposure of up to Wool Scale No.6, which is one of the highest industry standard.
Schaum INSTA-MARK ETCHING INK
It is metal etching ink to etch on metal surfaces. It is transparent liquid and looks like a water. It works on the Steel, Brass, Copper, Zinc, Tin & their Alloys. It reacts with metal and leaves its impression on that place in a light dark color. This impression is permanent and will not remove by oil, acid, alkalis, rubbing, solvent.
PROCESS:
It is applied by coding machine, marker pen, screen printing.
APPLICATIONS: Used in engineering, aluminum, automotive, metal industries for batch printing/marking various information.
Instruction: After marking with Pen/ Felt, please wash it with plane water after some time.
Warning: Handle carefully as it is acid ink. Suitable marking pens etc are available to be used for marking with this ink.

Schaum–HANDY MARKER is a hand-operated coder that can be used to mark/code on corrugated cartons, plywood,wooden crates,paper bags, cement/asbestos sheets, leather, cloth, HDPE woven sacks etc. Schaum provides this HANDY MARKER as a light weight and reliable option for continuous and prolonged use and is extremely sturdy.
Applications :
The Schaum-handy marker is used to mark Batch No., Product Name, Date of Manufacture, Expiry date, Gross Wt.,Destinations, Shipping Mark, Handling instructions, and other Statutory markings.
